Young Bangla is going to host a series of virtual ‘Let’s Talk’ events on ‘COVID-19 Recovery: Youth Development’ on September 04-06, 2020. The ‘Let’s Talk’ events will be held in strategic partnership with Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC), JAAGO Foundation, Junior Chamber International (JCI), and Samdani Art Foundation. Five ‘Let’s Talk’ events will be held with five strategic partners on the following thematic issues-
- Youth-led Response and Resilience: COVID-19 Recovery
- Youth Skills: Post COVID-19 Resilience Through Education
- Youth Plus COVID-19 Recovery: Employment & Entrepreneurship
- Investing in Youth Health and Sports: Post COVID-19 Wellbeing
- Art and Culture: Visioning Post COVID-19 with Creative Imagination

The ‘Let’s Talk’ series aims to validate the policy suggestions from the previous virtual consultations and ‘Let’s Talk’ events, identify the unexplored policy areas regarding post COVID-19 youth development agendas and propose the policy suggestions through keynote paper presentations and conducive policy discussion.
The events will be held between September 04, 2020 and September 06, 2020. An inaugural ‘Let’s Talk’ will be held which will be followed by five thematic areas. At the end of the series ‘Let’s Talk’, there will be a plenary ‘Let’s Talk’. In the inaugural plenary, Young Bangla will present a framework of youth development integral to post COVID-19 recovery plan. The framework will be based on the suggestions obtained from the previously organized consultations and ‘Let’s Talk’ during the pandemic between March 2020 and June 2020.
Youth achievers, experts, leaders, practitioners, policy makers, lawmakers, academicians, registered youth participants will join the discussion. The target audience of the Let’s Talk series are the Bangladeshi youth who want to make their concerns, opinions, thoughts and ideas heard in shaping the post COVID-19 youth development issues.
The policy suggestions from the discussions will be presented to the policymakers in the plenary ‘Let’s Talk’. A youth declaration and a policy brief on youth development agenda will be prepared to share with the Honorable Prime Minister through the Young Bangla secretariat.
