After awarding the prize money and crest to the winning teams of the competition, Nasrul Hamid urged all the youth to come forward in innovative activities. At this time, he said, if youth want to work with the power department on a larger scale, they can contact with the power cell. We want to embrace new ideas. There will be mistakes but without mistakes, nothing new will be created. He also added, for those who are interested in research, we have a department called the Energy Research Council and we fund like 20 cores every year. We are funding small projects that want to grow and do research. We need thousands of engineers; we need thousands of management people. Stating that there is no alternative to research for energy saving in the future, Nasrul Hamid said that three things are important for how the energy of the future will be – whether the energy is efficient, whether it is uninterrupted and whether it is affordable. Now the running electric vehicle cost could have been reduced by 80% if we use it properly. Now we are giving 100 BDT rent. We would be giving 20 BDT rent then. The faster we can get, the more efficient we will be and it is ‘zero percent’ carbon emissions. Those who participated today don’t expect their ideas to become something big right now. Our goal is basically to develop the habit of generating ideas. By doing that, they will be able to generate better and bigger ideas in the future that will be useful for us in future. Farzana Chowdhury, Managing Director and CEO of Green Delta Insurance Company Ltd. said, we want to involve young people in innovative activities. That’s why being associated with Bicchuron we hope the youth of Bangladesh will be more involved in such innovative activities and thus Bangladesh will move forward.

Mohammad Hossain, Director General, Power cell, Ministry of Power, Energy, and Mineral Resources of Bangladesh thanked Young Bangla Team Leader Prof. Md. Roshidul Hasan for his leadership and organizing such kind of youth activities. He also urged that energy is the precondition to economic development and we have to have the smart way of energy solution.  Young Bangla Team Lead Prof. Md. Roshidul Hasan also stated about young Bangla’s current activates and thanked our honorable MP to stay beside as our guardian.  Prof Dr. Md Sazzad Hossain, member of University Grants Commission of Bangladesh (UGC) and director of Bangladesh Satellite Company Ltd (BSCL) and Professor Dr. Md. Shahidur Rashid Bhuiyan, Vice Chancellor, Sher-e-Bangla Agricultural University also shared their valuable opinion and honored for being as a part of this event.
