The much awaited “Joy Bangla Youth Award Ceremony” just kicked off. Already 20 awardees are named and received their awards from Honorable ICT Adviser to PM, Sajeeb Wazed Joy.
The collection and screening process is going on for BCC, ICT Division under Ministry of Posts, Telecommunications and Information Technology. Fifty selected candidates, who have applied through Young Bangla platform, will get chance to participate in an industry-oriented residential training.
Joy Bangla Youth Award is an initiative that is taken to recognize nationally the achievements by young people of Bangladesh. In doing so, Young Bangla has collected success stories, innovation by young people and their entrepreneurial ideas from all over the country through offline, online and media campaign.
On the 7th March 2015, a mega concert was organized by Young Bangla in collaboration with Centre for Research and Information (CRI) amidst reviving the historical speech of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman at the Army Stadium in the capital.
A Focused Group Discussion was held with the local youth representatives and active youth organizations at the conference room of Chittagong circuit House, Chittagong on 19th January, 2015. Focusing on the Divisional Meet, the Focused Group Discussion was to discuss the youth particaption in the Divisional Meet of 24 January.
