Cinema Bangladesh firmly believes that there is no country of youth. Young people who struggle with the same enthusiasm, love of life, love for humanity, dream of a beautiful world. There are different ways and ideals in the fight. Cinema Bangladesh is a film society for those who lifted the camera as a weapon. The state structure sets us separate and wants to dismantle the boundaries of the land. But at the end of the day in our communication, thoughts cannot be interrupted in exchange for a few. We have created our own ways to combine language, as well as communication language, without limiting all the boundaries, languages and territorial distances. The influence of films in our society is bidirectional. Society is reflected in films and in turn films influence society by changes in representations, challenging audience’s morals and transforming viewers’ opinions. Films are not only influential but also a source of entertainment and escapism. Films enhance creative sense and also can create awareness about the importance of education, art, sports and politics and can also warn us about the dangers of drugs, alcohol and other criminal activities. In short, film helps awaken our sense of responsibility and empathy towards such situations.

- Creating an audience who will bear a new and fresh perspective of cinema.
Cinema Bangladesh believes that youth has no boundary of the country. In a world full of inequity and unfairness, we encourage the youth to take their story and camera as a weapon. Every year we prioritize the ethnic cultures and lifestyle of our country in our festival through decoration, films and discussions.
The influence of cinema in our society is bidirectional. Society is reflected in cinema, and in turns, cinema influences society. It is also a source of entertainment and escape. Through the Global Youth Film Festival, Cinema Bangladesh connects the thoughts of youth of the world and presents them globally. We believe cinema by the youth will help us in shaping our perspective for a better future. We have Ramendu Mozumder as our chief advisor, and Morshedul Islam, Proshoon Rahman, Josim Ahmed, Meher Afroz Shaon, Fakhrul Arefeen Khan, Sadia Khaleed Reeti, Golam Rabbany Biplob, Enamul Karim Nirjhor in our existing advisory committee.
This organization was founded in 2016. Since 2017, Cinema Bangladesh is working it’s full potential to reach the youth of Bangladesh through and for cinema. The flagship event of the organization takes place each year in different cities of Bangladesh. Filmmakers from different cities and countries have joined the film festival throughout the years. This event has taken place in Lakshmipur, Rangpur, Mymensingh and Bandarban so far. Cinema Bangladesh also arranges filmmaking workshops in small towns and cities for the youth. The organization arranged many filmmaking workshops till date. Those cities are Rangpur, Jamalpur, Mymensingh, Dinajpur, Natore, Dhaka, Lakshmipur, and Rajshahi.
