“The more Competent the Nation the more Prosperous it is”- is what drove Somen Kanungo in a mission to provide skills and career development support to young people aspiring for a bright future. Thus, the journey and initiative of ‘De Engineers Club (DEC)’, started and it was the first efficient career development based, nonprofit organization of Chattogram division.
From the beginning of the journey, the organization has taken initiatives for skill and career development of students. DEC has organized a day-long successful workshop on various topics including Bigdata, Linux, 3D Animation, CCNA, Digital Marketing, Graphics Design, Digital Art, Freelancing, Android Apps, Wave Development, Programming, IOT, Supply Chain Management, and Innovative Workshop. Along with this they also conduct day long development program e.g. – Discover Your Career, explore: The Corporate Life, Data Center Technology Summit, Green Data Conference, Career Fest, Cloud computing, Soft Skill in Career, Corporate Life 2nd Edition, Are You Ready to get Hired? Career in IOT & Data Science Presentation Contest, Email Communication & Corporate Behavior etc.
After completing 5 years, DEC has changed the thinking of thousands of students, introduced technical and skilled career ideas, technical workshops and training through new career fields. In each case, accepting new initiatives, working in the future, to form a prosperous community of young people and career-oriented society. Along with this, recently started the work of HSC examinations to drop students.
