The path of establishing an online ICT learning platform of six lakh subscribers on YouTube was not easy for G. M. Abul Hasanat. The trigger point which made him create awareness-generating content against cyber security and tech literacy was his own lack of knowledge that made him a victim of fraud. However, it was a blessing in disguise since it made him aware and inspired him to generate awareness among mass people through his content. Acquiring a degree from CSE, he was skilled in the ins and outs of the machine and its loopholes. Learning from his previous mistakes, he planned to open a digital platform where people can get easy access to the dos and don’ts of using the internet, computer, and other IT basics. Slowly, he enlarged his project from a YouTube channel to an android application.
The available contents include Basic Cyber Security, basic use of the internet & smartphones, basic computers, and so on. At present, the team of iTech is working to uncover basic academic courses on digital education for its beneficiaries.
