7th March: The Spirit of Voice
The word ‘Joy Bangla’ has a distinct worth to all Bangladeshis. These worlds portray national pride and heritage including Bengali nationalism, the spirit of freedom, liberation war, independence, glory, and the spirit of achieving Vision 2021 and Vision 2041.
In remembrance of the historic 7th March speech by the Father of the Nation, Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, every year Young Bangla organizes the Joy Bangla Concert annually at the Army Stadium since 2015, to revive the spirit of Liberation War among the youth. Leading musical bands rescore and perform songs from the Swadhin Bangla Betar Kendra, along with their tracks, at the concert. Young Bangla has Organized 6 concerts – 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019 & 2020.
Joy Bangla Concert brings all the big names and musical bands in the Bangladeshi rock and metal scene on the same stage and what makes this even more exciting is that entry to the concert is free for 35,000 fans. All one needs is to do a simple registration on the Young Bangla website and collect a free entry pass.
The event was telecast live on different national television channels, broadcast live on radio and live-streamed online, while all major media outlets, both print and electronic media.
