Art and Culture: Visioning Post Covid19 with Creative Imagination
The COVID-19 crisis hits hard at arts, culture, and the creative economy, which comprises industries such as film, advertising, and fashion as well as creative occupations such as musicians, artists, performers, and designers. Design firms are shutting down; many young creative people have lost their jobs. International shows, residencies, festivals where young Bangladeshi artists were supposed to participate, are cancelled or postponed. International grants for Bangladeshi youth have been reduced significantly due to the global pandemic – as international grant giving agencies need to give priority to young people from their own countries. This let's talk session will focus on the above issues as well as possible solutions to overcome COVID19 impacts.
