About Let's Talk
The IT (Information and Technology) sector’s expansions have changed the scenery of youth participation in nation-building rapidly. Nearly half of Bangladesh's population are youth. The government is increasingly supporting youth participation in policy making and development programmes.
Young Bangla as one of the largest youth platforms has been working with a large youth community for many years to hear the concerns of Bangladeshi youth.
It hosts “Let’s Talks” to create an interdisciplinary platform for policy makers, researchers, practitioners, private sectors and youth to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges and solutions in the fields of Youth Development. In this policy forum, panellists answer questions raised by youth and recommend integrated youth-friendly development policies and actions to be taken for youth empowerment. So far Young Bangla has hosted more than 50 Let’s Talks since 2014 to engage young people in the policy making process.
