“Safety First and Training Must”-slogan formed and united SMF in 2015 with nine thousand volunteers and twenty trained experts in disaster management to provide such support to the disaster-affected people. The organization focuses on saving the lives and resources of the affected and giving life-saving training to the community following a sustainable structure. The training includes especially the youths and the women representing educational institutes, residencies, and different marginal communities. The training areas comprehend fire safety, personal and professional safety, earthquake management, flood management, landslide, lightning Management, road safety, emergency rescue, first aid, health & hygiene, climate change, and skill development. Other activities include tree plantation, blood donation, and awareness raising about the use of gas burners and accidents caused by fire. The trainers received professional training from the Comprehensive Disaster Management Program (CDMP), Training of Trainer (TOT), Community-Based Disaster Management (CBDM), and professional training from the fire service and civil defense. SNF gave free training to students of two hundred schools and colleges along with the American Embassy, Dhaka University, Jagannath University, and Rohingya Camp.
