With the guidance from some elderly people and supported by some school friend, a volunteer group – Shodesh was formed to work for the society and cultural development. Journey of Shodesh was not so pleasant at the beginning. They have faced many hurdles while raising money to doing their activities. They went on to establish Shodesh school which works for the development of basic skills and knowledge in terms of language, history, and literature. Sharif and the volunteers have started the “Bijoy Ashuk Poricchonotai” program of installing dustbin, which received appreciation from local community. They have also adopted many activities like blood donation, developed some audiovisual stories on the Liberation of Bangladesh.
Shodesh has also partnered with many organizations for doing their activities and received financial assistance for their projects. Due to expansion of the area of his work, they have been able to involve many youths for their community development work.
