Uttaran Juba Sangathan is a volunteer-based youth-led organization established in 2009 to serve the tea-garden community. Uttaran Juba Sangathan formulates its activities in education, skill development, and youth development. They also contributed to integrated community development and the activities include the provision of education, the development of their skills to reduce unemployment, and constant support to develop their overall living standards. The organization has one hundred and ten active members and three hundred and thirty youth volunteers coming from twenty villages of Habiganj and Moulavibazar Upazilla. The beneficiaries are thirty thousand in number who are benefiting from Uttan Juba Sangathan’s various activities. There are two primary schools run by the organization with two hundred and fifty regular students. Providing youth leadership training to college and university students, admission coaching, technical skills training, and ICT education are included in its activities. Besides, it organizes cultural events and publishes magazines to encourage the students in cultural activities and traditions. The organization also runs a cooperative society of five hundred tea workers.
